Environmental Science Graduate Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Environmental Science Graduate to join our team at Central Coast Council.

The successful candidate will assist the Environmental Management Lead in providing environmental management and specialist construction solutions to our Water and Sewer Directorate.

This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in a dynamic and customer-focused team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the review and development of Environmental Assessments, including EIS, REF, and CEMPs.
  • Conduct and/or assist in environmental research projects, including the preparation of reports and presentation of findings.
  • Apply sound environmental science principles and practices to everyday situations.
  • Provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

Requirements:

  • A Degree qualification in Environmental Science or relevant equivalent.
  • A current Class C Drivers Licence.
  • A valid Construction General Induction Card - NSW SafeWork or equivalent.
  • Experience in environmental research and assessment.

  • A competitive salary range of $72k - $86.3k plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • A Temporary full-time role with the possibility of extension.
