Job Title: Environmental Science Graduate

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Environmental Science Graduate to join our Water and Sewer Directorate at Central Coast Council. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in a dynamic and customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the Environmental Management Lead in providing environmental management and specialist construction solutions to Council's Water and Sewer Directorate.

* Apply sound environmental science principles and practices to everyday situations, while receiving mentoring to contribute to the compliance of water systems for the community.

* Provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

Requirements:

* A Degree qualification in Environmental Science or relevant equivalent, combined with ongoing professional development.

* A current Class C Drivers Licence.

* A valid Construction General Induction Card - NSW SafeWork or equivalent.

* Experience conducting and/or assisting in environmental research projects, including the preparation of reports and presentation of findings.

* The ability to assist in the review and development of Environmental Assessments including EIS, REF and CEMPs.

* A competitive salary range of $72k - $86.3k plus 11.5% superannuation.

* A Temporary full-time role with the opportunity to access a 9 day fortnight.

* Hybrid and flexible working conditions, including 2 days work from home and 3 days on site.
