Physiotherapist Opportunities

About the role:

We are seeking motivated and team-orientated new graduate physiotherapists to join our dynamic department. This is a full-time 2-year fixed-term contract commencing in early January.

You will be joining a team of experienced professionals who service the physiotherapy needs of our hospitals. Many of our team members take advantage of supported opportunities to be involved in research, clinical education, simulation, project work and improvement activities.

Responsibilities include managing a clinical caseload while contributing to quality improvement initiatives and best practice models of physiotherapy care. Clinical responsibilities may include providing physiotherapy care across a range of clinical areas, including public and private inpatients and public outpatients.

  • A graduate-entry level of knowledge, expertise and skill in physiotherapy clinical service provision relevant to our services
  • A commitment to continuous quality improvement, evidence-based practice and professional development
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and time management skills, including the ability to work collaboratively within our department and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Personal attributes that align with our organisational and department values

To be eligible for this position, applicants must have:

  • A recognised degree in physiotherapy
  • Eligibility and current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Eligibility to receive a Medicare provider number
  • A class C motor vehicle license
