Aged Care Residence Leader

This is a senior role within an aged care residence home with a memory support unit.
About the PositionAs a Residential Services Manager, you will leverage your experience in operational management to provide leadership and efficient service delivery, ensuring residents receive exceptional care. You will work closely with senior colleagues to achieve facility objectives concerning employee engagement, quality assurance, and clinical care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily operations at the residence home
- Oversee a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and services
- Collaborate with senior managers to attain facility goals
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards
You have previously held a leadership position within the aged care sector, demonstrating your ability to work independently and foster a positive workplace environment. You are an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and value patience, common sense, and compassion.
Requirements- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Act, ACFI, Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards, and relevant legislation
- Proficiency with Health Care / Aged Care information management systems, Microsoft Office, email, and internet
