We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Rehabilitation Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a vital role in helping individuals regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.
Your primary responsibilities will include undertaking assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans, designing and implementing intervention programmes using occupation to improve functional performance, independence and work capacity, identifying barriers and designing, implementing and monitoring programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation, understanding various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empowering clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals, and liaising with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will possess an Australian recognised degree qualification in Social Work (AASW), a willingness to learn and positively impact people's lives, the ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey, a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service, and the ability to work effectively in the community.
