We are excited to be looking for an enthusiastic QA Supervisor to join our dynamic team at our busy Dubbo Manufacturing site. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and effective implementation of our policies, procedures, and activities involved in assuring the quality of our award-winning manufactured products.
You will be working in a team that is passionate about doing things well and working together to achieve our goals. No two days will be the same, but with a team that believes in working together, you will have the support you need to ensure our equipment runs efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities in this role include:
Resource Management - Supervise and direct quality assurance technicians/auditors who are responsible for enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices and other quality-related policies in order to meet product quality standards.
Implementing and Maintaining Manufacturing Standards - This includes reviewing production batch records for compliance purposes, auditing quality control to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, testing of finished products and raw materials, overseeing the "On Hold" product program including destruction of "Rejected" products and fulfilling required duties to meet product quality standards.
Oversee and maintain continuous process improvements - This includes assisting in investigating and correcting quality-related issues (including customer complaints) through collaboration with other departments., making proactive recommendations and offering/presenting solutions to the Quality Systems & Regulatory Compliance Department Management to improve quality and work efficiency, and participate in all regulatory, third party and customer audits and inspections, and corrective action response
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
Have the proven ability to develop and maintain close working relationships with other department managers and supervisory personnel in order to meet and maintain product quality, identify, solve and prevent problems affecting product quality, maximize productivity, and comply with regulatory requirements.
Provide QA team members with training, guidance and leadership in relationship to good manufacturing practices, good laboratory practices, good documentation practices,
Maintain our SQF program, HACCP and site QMS systems in an audit prepared state
Have proven experience Quality Management Systems, HACCP and Food Safety Programs within a Food Manufacturing Environment (essential)
Have Tertiary qualification in food science / related agricultural science or relevant industry experience and training (ie HACCP)
