We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Operations Specialist to join our team in North Sydney, Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading consumer goods company and contribute to the success of our logistics operations.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position responsible for the strategic sourcing of logistics services for our Australian and New Zealand markets.
  • You will be working closely with our regional logistics leaders, ANZ business units, and supply chain teams to develop and execute procurement strategies that drive cost savings, quality improvements, and supplier development.
  • Key responsibilities include category management, contract negotiation, supplier performance evaluation, and market research to ensure compliance with our global procurement standards.
  • The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of our cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics procurement, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings, quality improvements, and supplier development initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP/Coupa systems and other procurement software tools is beneficial.
