About the Role

The Community Tennis Development Manager will be responsible for delivering the Thriving Tennis Communities framework at a council level. This includes upgrading current clubs/venues and providing future clubs/venues via network planning.

  • Collaborate with councils to develop positive relationships within the region and drive change.
  • Identify trends for tennis within and across councils and work with the Regional Tennis Manager to ensure this is considered in any region-wide planning.
  • Work with staff managing club and venue relationships to maximise funding, facility improvement, and program support opportunities.
  • Conduct regular reviews and realign plans with councils as needed to ensure progress of TTC objectives in the region.

This role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong report writing, data analysis, and presentation skills, as well as high computer literacy with Microsoft suite and database management.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Sports Management or relevant experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours and arrangements.
