We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team at Professional Search Group. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Month-end accounting, including journals, prepayments, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Maintain Fixed assets and depreciation schedules
  • Monthly BAS
  • Perform the Monthly Payroll process (Using Xero)
  • Action all associated payroll payments
  • Produce monthly leave reporting to managers
  • Assistance with preparation of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reports and cashflows
  • Prepare Ad hoc analysis, payments and reports as required
  • Assist with Administration functions within the business
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Finance, or related field or close to completion
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in relevant accounting role
  • Knowledge of Oracle or a similar software
  • Intermediate to Advanced computer software skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Proficiency in intermediate Excel functions (VLOOKUPs, standard functions, and pivot tables)
