At Professional Search Group, we are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Month end accounting, including journals, prepayments, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Maintaining Fixed assets and depreciation schedules
  • Monthly BAS
  • Performing the Monthly Payroll process (using Xero)
  • Actioning all associated payroll payments
  • Producing monthly leave reporting to managers
  • Assisting with preparation of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reports, and cashflows
  • Preparing Ad hoc analysis, payments, and reports as required
  • Assisting with Administration functions within the business

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a relevant accounting role
  • Knowledge of Oracle or a similar software
  • Intermediate to Advanced computer software skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Proficiency in intermediate Excel functions (VLOOKUPs, standard functions, and pivot tables)
