The Hornsby Shire Council is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Lifeguard to join our team at our Aquatic and Recreation Facilities. As a Lifeguard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and protection of all users, including children, young people, and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and ensure the safety and protection of all users through effective communication and compliance with Council's determinations and State and Federal Regulations.
  • Act as a Lifeguard for all pool users through effective supervision and enforcement of pool rules and policies.

Requirements:

  • Current Pool Lifeguard Licence
  • High level of physical fitness
  • Ability to work at weekends and at our two aquatic centres
