We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Bunbury. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live their lives to the fullest.
Key Responsibilities- Support individuals with disabilities in their daily living activities, such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and personal care.
- Assist with recreational activities, such as swimming, dancing, and social events.
- Develop and implement person-centered plans to achieve individual goals and outcomes.
- Provide support with medication administration, appointments, and other daily tasks.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for individuals with disabilities.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015) or equivalent.
- Swim ability with willingness to enter pool with customers.
- Experience in bowel care, dysphagia, and epilepsy, or willingness to train.
- Previous experience or willingness to train in manual handling and medication administration.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to use private vehicle (with rebates available).
