We are seeking an experienced Strategic Project Manager to oversee a high-profile project in support of Defence's mission.

The Australian Government is committed to expediting the production of guided weapons within Australia through the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) program, a complex endeavour encompassing research, development, testing, evaluation, manufacturing, maintenance, repair, overhaul, storage, distribution, disposal, and education and training.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team and provide guidance to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Represent and advocate on behalf of the organisation to achieve capability outcomes.
  • Evaluate and provide expert advice on capability proposals, including assessments of the strategic context, capability options, resource implications, risks, and acquisition strategies.
