Associate Professor in Oceanography

We are seeking an exceptional academic to lead our research and teaching programs in oceanography.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development of new research directions in chemical or physical oceanography, with a focus on generating high-quality publications and presenting at international conferences.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to teach and mentor students, with a strong emphasis on effective communication and collaboration skills.

To be successful in this position, you will need to hold a PhD in a relevant field of physical/chemical oceanography, paleoceanography, or marine geology, with evidence of effective teaching practices and a strong research record.

The salary for this role ranges from $92,142 to $149,731 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
