Director of Operations and Leadership

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Operations and Leadership to join our team at a local early learning centre. This role involves supporting the Centre Director in leading the team, mentoring and building capabilities within the centre team, and being responsible for the overall management of the centre when the Centre Director is absent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Centre Director to provide high-quality early learning and care services
  • Mentor and develop skills within the centre team to enhance their capabilities
  • Take charge of the centre's operations in the absence of the Centre Director

  • The centre has 85 places, with indoor spaces designed for exploration and learning, and large shaded outdoor play areas
  • This role requires flexibility to support the centre's operational needs, including both open and close shifts
  • A dedicated team of educators delivers high-quality, play-based learning programs focusing on school readiness and child development
