Junior Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an individual to fill the role of Junior Payroll Officer. This position is ideal for those with some experience in payroll who wish to develop their skills while working under the guidance of experienced team members.
About The JobIn this role, you will be responsible for processing weekly pays for 2,500 employees. Your duties will include:
- Updating and maintaining employee records
- Onboarding new starters and maintaining employee files
- Processing terminations, redundancies, and leave
- Responding to employee queries
- Interpreting awards
- Handling payroll inquiries and resolving issues
This is a full-time, permanent position offering exceptional learning opportunities and a stable team environment.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- Some payroll exposure, with transferable skills from accounts, HR, or administrative roles
- High attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- A dedicated work ethic and willingness to learn
