The position of Grounds Maintenance Assistant Supervisor is available at our organization.
About the Position:We are seeking a skilled grounds maintenance professional to lead our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hands-on work and maintaining high standards in grounds maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform a variety of grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, brush cutting, hedging, weeding, and herbicide spraying.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, completing job safety analyses (JSA) and required permits before work begins each day.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate clearly with management and customers about work progress and upcoming needs.
- Maintain equipment, reporting any faults promptly.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in grounds maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in work quality.
- Team-oriented with solid interpersonal and organizational skills.
- A hardworking, reliable, and punctual attitude.
- Chemical accreditation (AQF3) or willingness to obtain.
