Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to lead and mentor a team of supported employees in performing grounds and garden maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 2-3 supported employees in performing grounds and garden maintenance tasks.
  • Provide daily supervision and mentorship to help supported employees develop new skills and reach their full potential.
  • Deliver high-quality service to internal and external customers, ensuring productivity and safety at all times.
  • Manage tasks, provide feedback, and ensure work is completed efficiently and to customer expectations.
  • Maintain and care for grounds at various sites, adhering to strict OH&S standards.
  • Complete required documentation, including written feedback on employee performance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience leading small teams.
  • A high level of pride in your work, with excellent attention to detail.
  • A strong ability to train and motivate employees of all abilities.
  • A willingness to adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Strong written, verbal, and computer skills.
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module or willingness to complete.
Additional Requirements
  • The ability to work alongside people of all abilities and contribute to a positive, safe, and inclusive workplace.
  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a related field is desirable.
