As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in leading projects, mentoring junior engineers and delivering high-quality electrical engineering solutions across critical infrastructure sectors.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior / Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong expertise in switchboards, switchrooms and outdoor enclosures within a design or manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will have experience in the water industry or broader utilities sector and possess excellent knowledge of relevant Australian Standards (e.g., AS/NZS 61439, AS/NZS 3000).

Responsibilities:
  1. Design, develop and deliver electrical switchboards, switchrooms and outdoor enclosures.
  2. Provide technical leadership in engineering design, drafting and manufacturing processes.
  3. Review electrical drawings, schematics and single line diagrams.
  4. Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards, electrical codes and client specifications.

  • Proven ability to lead engineering projects from concept through to delivery.
