The Faith Based Learning Leader is a senior leadership role responsible for supporting the Principal in implementing the mission and vision of the school. This leader has delegated responsibility for leading, coordinating, and supervising learning and teaching in Religious Education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coordinate, and supervise learning and teaching in Religious Education.
  • Support the Principal in implementing the mission and vision of the school.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote the evangelizing mission of Catholic schools within the Diocese of Wagga Wagga.
  • Foster a sense of community and collaboration among staff, students, and parents.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate academic qualifications additional to initial teacher training.
  • Accreditation for Senior Leadership in a Catholic School or working towards Accreditation.
  • NESA Accreditation at Proficient Status or beyond.
  • Current Drivers Licence.
  • Current Working With Children Check.
  • Successful candidate to undertake National Criminal History Check.
Skills and Experience
  • Recent school or system Leadership experience.
  • Highly developed communication skills in a range of forums and media.
  • Knowledge and understanding of teaching and learning pedagogies, curriculum, and practice.
  • A high level of relational skills evidenced in a range of circumstances.
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and analyse data relevant to the scope of practice and position.
