We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced retail sales team leader to join our successful team in Australia. This part-time role offers a unique blend of customer service, sales, and leadership responsibilities.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a positive shopping experience for our customers, exceeding their expectations, and 'WOW'ing them with exceptional service.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Liv[e] every day the Spendless Way, delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring that our customers receive an unforgettable experience.
  • Follow our 4Cs of Customer Care, prioritizing communication, courtesy, consistency, and care in every interaction with our customers.
  • Achieve sales budgets by promoting our products, understanding customer needs, and providing expert advice to drive sales growth.
  • Maintain company merchandising standards, ensuring that our stores look their best and our products are visually appealing.
  • Rotate and present our product effectively, showcasing new arrivals and seasonal collections.
  • Administer and implement company procedures, adhering to our policies and protocols.
  • Collaborate with your team members, embracing our Spendless values and fostering a culture of teamwork and mutual respect.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a retail, hospitality, or customer service role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
  • Cash handling and EFTPOS experience, with a strong understanding of cash management and point-of-sale systems.
  • Stock handling, replenishment, and merchandising knowledge, ensuring that our stores are always fully stocked and visually appealing.
  • Ideal knowledge of sales budgets and KPIs, with a proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle complaints, resolve issues, and exceed customer expectations.
  • The motivation to succeed, with a passion for fashion, footwear, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas, listen actively, and build rapport with customers and colleagues.
