Job Summary

The Principal Adviser Climate Change Adaptation will provide expert technical guidance on climate change-related assessments and projects within a fast-paced environment. This role requires establishing the position's functionality, managing regulatory issues, and leading investigations to provide technical advice to stakeholders.

This role contributes to the development, management, and maintenance of specialist projects supporting our organisation's role in climate change and executing its strategic priorities. The key focus is to establish and embed climate change resilience technical assessments and responses within our business as usual.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead investigations and provide expert technical advice on site and neighbourhood or regional based risk assessment, climate adaptation responses, and controls or compliance matters related to climate change adaptation and preparedness.
  • Contribute to the development, management, and maintenance of specialist projects.
  • Support our organisation's role in climate change and execute its strategic priorities.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil and/or environmental engineering.
