Engineering Administrator Job

Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is a world-renowned destination located on the famous Cable Beach in Broome, Western Australia.

We have an opportunity for an Engineering Administrator to join our Broome based Engineering Team.

  • Reports to the Chief Engineer or delegate.
  • Works in conjunction with the entire Engineering Department.
  • Communicates, coordinates and cooperates closely with staff from all other departments as required.
  • Interacts with individuals from outside the Resort such as contractors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare department purchase orders ensuring accuracy of description of purchase and general ledger codes.
  2. Dispatch maintenance requests to appropriate engineering staff and follow up on any outstanding requests.
  3. Communicate with resort departments in the completion of works or arrival of materials or goods.
  4. Ensure the stationery supplies within the department are maintained.
  5. Ensure all documentation is filed appropriately and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Previous administrative and/or finance experience is essential.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • High level of organization and communication skills, both oral and written.
