Key Role in Demand Planning

The role of the Demand Planner is vital in ensuring that products are available and inventory levels are optimised across multiple sales channels.

As a key member of the planning team, you will be responsible for developing and executing demand and merchandise plans based on historical data, sales trends, promotions, market intelligence, and seasonality.

  • Developing Plans: You will develop short- and long-term demand and merchandise plans to meet business objectives.
  • Managing Inventory: You will manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) frameworks to support inventory investment decisions and budget alignment.
  • Partnering with Suppliers: You will partner closely with international retail and wholesale partners to ensure alignment of stock availability, forecast expectations, and replenishment cadence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in merchandise & demand planning, ideally within a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strategic and Analytical Skills: Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to create and execute financial and merchandise plans.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, with experience recommending or implementing merchandise planning systems.
