We are currently seeking expressions of interest for potential vacancies at a prominent corporate site in Melbourne's CBD.

Job Description

This fast-paced and dynamic Security Operations Centre role sits within a large team based in the heart of Melbourne, where you will be responsible for providing control room monitoring and call centre duties to support the security needs of our client. You will work closely with staff members at all levels to ensure seamless communication and incident response.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the telephone call centre helpdesk function, responding to internal security phone lines and emergency calls.
  • Remote incident response and coordination, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding security matters.
  • Security service bookings and dispatch of guards, roving patrol teams, and technicians, as well as coordinating with contractors.
  • Complete accurate and detailed incident reports in our database.
  • CCTV and alarm monitoring, as well as use of building management systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Victorian Security Licence.
  • Certificate II or III in Security Operations.
  • Call centre security operations experience and alarm monitoring experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional phone manner.
  • Computer-literate, comfortable adapting to and learning new systems.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and being able to prioritise tasks.
