Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Coordinator to manage daily operations at the hospital's loading dock.

About the Role
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the loading dock, ensuring timely deliveries and dispatches
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal departments to coordinate freight and logistics
  • Maintain compliance with workplace safety protocols, manual handling procedures, and infection control guidelines
  • Ensure accurate documentation and inventory tracking for all deliveries and collections
  • Supervise and coordinate access to the loading dock, managing congestion and scheduling
Key Qualifications
  • Experience in warehouse, loading dock, or logistics coordination (ideally in a healthcare or complex facility environment)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • A commitment to safety and compliance
  • Computer literacy and experience with inventory or delivery systems is highly desirable
