About this Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled finance leader to join our team as a Leadership Finance Director. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of multiple dealerships in Tasmania.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial operations, reporting, and compliance
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes
  • Prepare and present management reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
  • Support the CFO and leadership team with strategic financial planning
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team

About You

We are looking for an accomplished finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced automotive dealership environment. You will bring:

  • Automotive dealership experience (non-negotiable requirement)
  • CA/CPA qualification and proven post-qualification experience
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS / Australian standards)
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to turn data into business insights
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • A hands-on, proactive, and collaborative style
