This role is responsible for developing and implementing product compliance processes to minimize risk, ensure safety, and meet regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement tools, educational training, and awareness materials for employees and suppliers.
  2. Build strategic networks with key stakeholders, industry experts, and government agencies.
  3. Drive process improvements to guide merchandising strategy and ranging decisions.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong leadership, influencing, and negotiation skills, as well as excellent presentation and communication skills. You should also have a high-level understanding of current AU/NZ product regulations and standards, and demonstrated experience in retail or consumer product compliance.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Quality Assurance, product development, engineering, or a relevant discipline, and postgraduate qualifications in risk management or compliance would be an advantage.
