We are seeking a talented Social Media Coordinator to join our team at Global Retail Brands Australia, a leading specialty homewares retailer with over 270 stores nationwide.

About the role:

The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to build brand awareness, drive engagement, and support overall marketing objectives.

This includes creating and scheduling content, monitoring social media analytics, and collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment with company goals.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Develop and implement short- and long-term social media plans aligned with business and marketing objectives.
  • Support major campaigns and product launches by brainstorming creative content, capturing in-store material, and tracking performance for optimization.
  • Monitor and analyse social media engagement, including likes, comments, and shares.

About you:

  • Qualification in Marketing, Public Relations, Copy Writing, Social Media, Digital Marketing, Production, Graphic Design.
  • Essential: Minimum 2 years client or agency marketing/PR with social media experience.
  • Consumer focused, ability to adapt to a changing environment, committed and hard working. Self-motivated and shows initiative – plans to be one step ahead. Enthusiastic and positive with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • MS Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) – Intermediate – Advanced. Adobe products and project management software – Advantageous. Visual content management and manipulation software (i.e. Cavna or similar) – desirable.
