Environment & Planning Specialist

This role presents a unique chance to work with a leading partner and other lawyers, providing expert advice on a range of environment and planning matters.
- Environmental risk management and compliance are key aspects of the position.
- Pollution and licensing, including enforcement and litigation, require in-depth knowledge and experience.
- Renewable energy, wind and solar farms are areas where the successful candidate will be able to make a significant impact.
- The role also involves waste management, including licensing, levies and compliance issues.
- Native vegetation and natural resource management, as well as contaminated land management and remediation, are critical components of the job.
- Strategic planning and development advice, environmental impact assessment, and planning agreements Heritage law are all essential skills required for this position.
- Land and Environment Court litigation, planning and environmental due diligence, climate change law and policy, and sustainability are additional areas where expertise is needed.
To excel in this role, the successful candidate will have 5+ years' experience working in a highly regarded environment & planning practice, with a mixed advisory, transactional and litigation focus.
