Electrical Leadership Position

The role of an Electrical Leading Hand involves overseeing the electrical safety and maintenance operations on-site. This position reports directly to the Supervisor Maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal obligations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff and apprentices.
  • Foster a culture of skilled leadership among team members in the Electrical Maintenance area.
  • Maintain the efficient operation of all plant, equipment, and buildings on site, guaranteeing a safe working environment.
  • Ensure teams operate safely, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities for personal growth and development within the organization.
  • Promote improved service delivery to production.
  • Utilize advanced problem-solving techniques to diagnose and repair breakdowns.
  • Certify all installation work meets Australian standards.
Requirements:
  • Possession of a current WA A-Grade Electrical license.
  • Demonstrated expertise in commercial, industrial, and domestic electrical installation techniques.
  • Familiarity with WA Electrical Requirements.
  • Site Nominee status (desired).
  • Proven leadership experience.
