This is a key role for someone who wants to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy medical centre in Nerang, Queensland. As the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our practice runs smoothly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of experience in a similar role within a general practice (GP) setting. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage both admin and clinical staff effectively.
- Oversee daily operations to maintain efficient practice running
- Manage and support admin and clinical staff including rostering, training and performance
- Coordinate patient appointments and ensure excellent customer service
- Handle billing, accounts and budgeting tasks
- Maintain up-to-date practice policies and procedures compliant with healthcare regulations
- Plan and implement ways to improve productivity and patient satisfaction
- Manage electronic medical records system and ensure data accuracy
- Work with external partners such as suppliers, contractors and other healthcare providers
- Ensure practice is clean, safe and welcoming for everyone
- At least 6 months experience as an Operations Manager in a GP setting
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Experience using practice management software and electronic medical records
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations is essential
