We are seeking a talented individual to join our Finance team at Marsh Pacific in Sydney. This role combines analytical skills with business acumen, requiring you to work closely with local controllers on revenue recognition issues.

This hybrid role involves preparing revenue accruals and reconciliations, performing revenue analysis, including client level analytics, and supporting quarterly forecasting and annual budget planning processes.

You will be responsible for developing strong working relationships with business stakeholders, providing ad hoc reports and analysis, and assisting the wider finance team with internal reporting requirements and financial controls.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Commerce or Accounting or equivalent
  • CPA/CA qualification
  • Management Accounting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Confident communication skills and a passion for partnering with the business
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and challenge the business where appropriate
