Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Lead to drive the implementation of wholesale reforms in the National Electricity Market. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in leading project teams and working collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy markets, commercial concepts, and data analysis. You will be responsible for developing strategic plans, mitigating risks, and ensuring business readiness for new initiatives. Your ability to communicate complex ideas effectively and convey them in a non-technical manner will be essential in this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading project teams to implement high-level market designs
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop strategic plans and mitigate risks

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The following qualifications and skills are required for this role:

  • Demonstrated capability to lead project teams in operational energy environments
  • Strong experience in the energy or related industries
  • Demonstrated understanding of energy markets and commercial concepts
  • Knowledge of data assets and exchanges that underpin efficient and secure operation of energy markets
  • Tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications relevant to energy markets
