About the Role

This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the department's integrity, probity, and fraud and corruption resilience functions. The Director will ensure alignment with the Victorian Public Sector Commission's guidelines and Whole of Victorian Government priorities, upholding the high standards of integrity and ethical behaviour expected by the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading teams that manage internal investigations and support external agency inquiries
  • Investigating non-compliance, gathering evidence for legal proceedings, and raising awareness of protected disclosures within the department
  • Collaborating across the department to ensure solutions are effective for both immediate business needs and long-term strategic objectives
  • Fostering a culture of ethical decision-making, challenging the status quo, and supporting the department's risk management strategy
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
  • Extensive experience in ethics and integrity with a strong understanding of public sector values
