Transformative IT Leadership Opportunity

Downer Group is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team and drive transformative initiatives using the latest technologies and methodologies. As a key member of our team, you will support our client, a key Defence agency, in guiding the strategic development and implementation of change management strategies for a critical program of work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they support distributed systems and collaborative environments.
  • Establish and enforce secure IT protocols, integrating advanced cybersecurity measures to protect systems and data.
  • Plan and develop network and infrastructure components to support organisational needs and enhance overall performance.
  • Create scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions that align with organisational goals and support innovation.
  • Manage network design, system integration, and security planning to ensure effective and secure IT operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve system capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing secure IT infrastructure projects, with a background in relevant technologies and cybersecurity practices.
  • Proven ability to develop scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions that support organisational objectives.
  • Expertise in the architectural design of IT infrastructure, including distributed systems and cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture, system integration, and security protocols.
  • Skilled in network design, system architecture, and security planning, with a focus on scalability and performance optimisation.
  • Proficient in leveraging cloud technologies and virtualisation to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.
