Transformative Enterprise Architect Role

Smart Talent Group is seeking a visionary Enterprise Architect to spearhead the development of a cohesive architecture that aligns with departmental and whole-of-government strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a forward-thinking architecture that integrates with departmental and whole-of-government initiatives.
  • Collaborate with program solution architects to clarify requirements and vision, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Engage with architectural and delivery stakeholders across the department to drive architectural decisions and ensure effective communication.
  • Contribute to the ICT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture framework, providing expert guidance on digital transformation and cloud adoption.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 5 years in enterprise architecture, with a proven track record of leading and collaborating with solution, data, infrastructure, and application architects.
  • Needs Identification: Demonstrated ability to identify and scope opportunities for common platforms and services across the enterprise, ensuring effective communication of future-state architectures to stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, judgment, research, and analytical skills, with strong stakeholder engagement, problem-solving abilities, planning, and time management.
  • Policy Knowledge: Familiarity with whole-of-government policies, including the Digital Transformation Agency's Digital Service Standard and the Australian Signals Directorate Information Security Manual (ISM).
  • Digital Transformation Experience: Proven experience in digital transformation, including enterprise architecture tools and methodologies, cost modeling, and advising on cost management and authentication frameworks.
  • Cloud Expertise: Knowledge of cloud architecture and approaches, particularly with Microsoft cloud offerings.
