About the Role

Lifecare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Podiatrist to join our team. As a part-time Podiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality treatment to our patients, ensuring optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' foot and lower limb conditions, diagnose and treat abnormalities and diseases, and evaluate treatment outcomes.
  • Diabetic Foot Health: Conduct diabetic foot health assessments and provide education on foot care and prevention of complications.
  • Footwear and Foot Care Advice: Provide advice on footwear and foot care to patients, including orthotic prescriptions and fittings.
  • Musculoskeletal Conditions: Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions using a range of treatments.
  • Biomechanical Examinations: Conduct biomechanical examinations and assessments to identify and address underlying issues.
  • Quality Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient treatment plans and progress.
  • Referrals: Make referrals to other healthcare professionals as necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements
  • Professional Registration: Hold professional registration with AHPRA.
  • Qualification as a Podiatrist: Possess a qualification as a Podiatrist.
  • Working with Children Check: Hold a valid Working with Children Check.
  • Criminal History Check: Be willing to undergo a National Criminal history check upon successful application.
