The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Club Development Coordinator. This exciting role will provide support and guidance to our community club network, helping to make it easier for local club volunteers to have self-sustainable quality practices in place.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide support and guidance to the Club Development Leads network, building and maintaining strong relationships with CDLs to help them support their network of clubs.
  2. Regularly report on known club activity, including facility grants applications, volunteer registrations, and other relevant information.
  3. Offer guidance on where to find information, tips, and resources, and develop and provide templates to help CDLs more effectively undertake their role.
  4. Promptly respond to requests for assistance and continuously improve the support, guidance, and resources provided to CDLs.
  5. Identify opportunities to showcase success stories of what is working at club level.
  6. Manage the volunteer recruitment portal, connecting prospective volunteers to clubs.
  7. Coordinate Metro & Regional Club Development meetings and forums.
  8. Build and maintain strong relationships with other AFL team members.
  9. Provide regular reporting as needed to assess tracking against key metrics.

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual with previous experience in a coordinator or administrative role. The ideal candidate will have strong organization and attention to detail skills, prior history of building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
