Key Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for a proactive and organized individual to fill the role of General Admin and Tactical Purchasing Trainee. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing direct and indirect materials purchasing, following replenishment, logistics footprints, and inventory control.

  • Materials Procurement: Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to support site production.
  • MRP Exceptions: Manage MRP exceptions to avoid obsolete material and guarantee correct material delivery and inventory control.
  • Material Availability: Ensure material availability with correct timing to support site production.
  • Liaising with Finance: Liaise with finance and accounts payable to resolve invoicing and stock issues.
  • Customer Updates: Provide weekly customer open order report updates.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be required to:

  • Document Control: Document control (MDR/Test reports).
  • Dispatch and Picker Release: Dispatch picker release.
  • Stationery Management: Ordering and managing stationery levels.
  • Freight Invoice Reconciliation: Reconciling freight invoices.
  • Supporting Teams: Support the strategic sourcing team, general site administration, and order management team.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Education: Year 12 Atar or TAFE equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in general industry and admin experience.
