Job Opportunity: Financial and Procurement Services

About the Position:

The role of a Financial Officer in the Justice Department involves providing financial and procurement transactional services to various facilities.

This position may require direct interaction with prisoners and occasional weekend or public holiday work, compensated in accordance with relevant regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivering financial and procurement support services
  • Maintaining effective communication with prisoners
  • Working flexible hours including weekends and public holidays as required

Key Requirements:

  • Familiarity with standard office software and equipment
  • Adequate knowledge of applicable laws, policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations
  • Understanding of finance-related systems such as Oracle
  • Awareness of prison financial operations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • No formal qualifications are necessary; however, relevant experience in administration and/or finance would be advantageous
