The OpportunityThis role supports the Energy and Sustainability initiatives as part of a team focused on Utility Account management services, including identifying cost savings and energy accounting reporting.
- We review energy consumption patterns to match with best available tariffs from electricity retailers and distributors.
- We conduct audits of tariffs/bills for Landlord billed sites and negotiate resets and tariff changes as needed.
- We undertake energy procurement activities to obtain best available tariffs.
- We understand strategic implications of changes in the energy market, including costs, competitors, legislation, and regulations to employ critical thinking to support business decision making.
- We utilise systems, interrogate data, and undertake complex analysis to find trends and drive insights.
- Strong hands-on experience with Excel and data visualisation tools (Power BI desired).
- Proven organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proven verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving, strong analytical and project management skills.
- Knowledge of National Electricity Market, tariff reforms, pricing proposals and general industry trends - Preferred.
- Experience working with Energy retailers, Distributors or Consultants.
