About the Role

As a skilled Electrical Technician, you will report directly to the Electrical Maintenance Workshop Supervisor in a full-time, permanent position located at our Eastern Ridge tooling operation hub. This is an 8D6RR rostered FIFO opportunity.

Your key responsibilities will include performing preventative and corrective maintenance on belt change-out equipment such as Vulcanisers, Winches, Winders, Generators, and Conveyor Maintenance Equipment. You will ensure availability, performance, and integrity of assets through thorough testing and tagging, fault finding on control systems, conducting planned and unplanned maintenance in accordance with our policies and procedures, following specific electrical maintenance inspections and procedures, and prioritizing health, safety, environment responsibility, and sustainable development.

  • Performing routine inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure
  • Conducting fault diagnosis and repair of electrical equipment
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and reporting incidents as necessary
  • Collaborating with other maintenance teams to achieve maintenance goals

We require an Electrical Trade Qualification, along with HRWL Forklift, Dogging, and Rigging certifications. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this role. Experience with conveyor maintenance and knowledge of fixed plant equipment maintenance are desirable. The ability to analyze and solve problems effectively is also crucial. SAP/Fiori experience is a plus.
