">Instrumentation and Electrical Specialist

This is an Expression of Interest for an experienced Instrument & Electrical Technician to join our offshore team.

  • Establish relationships with trainees, providing guidance and assistance in developing a learning environment.
  • Carry out planned maintenance according to the planned maintenance system requirements.
  • Perform fault finding and rectification for electrical equipment and instrumentation systems.
  • Conduct checks and assist in the final commissioning of electrical and instrumentation equipment, including high-voltage and low-voltage switch gear instrumentation and design modifications.
  • Inspect work, conduct hazardous area inspections, and perform package checks as required.
  • Prepare technical reports and work order history for entry into the maintenance management system (e.g. SAP).

">Qualifications and Skills:

Recognised 'A' Grade Electrical Licence.

  • Recognised Trade Certificate of Instrument Fitting.
  • Completed Electrical Equipment Hazardous Area Certificate - endorsed to Detailed Inspections.
  • Provide First Aid certificate.
  • Low Voltage Rescue and CPR Training.
  • Current T/BOSIET MARLINS English Language Test (if applicable).
  • Safe Working at Heights (within 3 years from issue).
  • Desirable Atmospheric Gas Testing.
  • HV Switching Operations.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Oil & Gas construction and maintenance Industry.
  • Enter and Work in Confined Space.
  • Operate Breathing Apparatus Swagelok.
