Role Overview

This is a part-time permanent position with Latrobe Community Health Service, working within our Central Highlands region.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Community Development Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of community capacity building plans.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing annual Community Capacity Building Plans relevant to the service delivery area they work in. This will involve:

  • Developing detailed plans to build community capacity
  • Delivering plan actions and outcomes
  • Planning, coordinating, marketing, and participating in promotional events

The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education, a current Working with Children Check or VIT Registration, and NDIS Workers Screening Check (obtained during application).

What We're Looking For
  • Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education
  • A current Working with Children Check (Employee) or VIT Registration
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (can be obtained during application)
