Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining server SOEs and deployed operating environments, including patching, support, and automation improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and configuring hypervisors, backup, and storage solutions.
  • Helping ensure system reliability and performance by responding to incidents and events, conducting root cause analysis, maintaining runbooks, and providing escalation support.
  • Developing and maintaining operational procedures and system configurations, ensuring they meet compliance standards and supporting improvements through structured change management processes.
  • Implementing and maintaining security controls and monitoring profiles, and working collaboratively across teams to drive automation and operational efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing and supporting Windows and Linux environments, virtualisation platforms and underlying infrastructure. Familiarity with monitoring and eventing tools, backup technologies, and cloud-based networking concepts is also required.

A proven ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team environment, contributing to shared goals and supporting colleagues across various domains, is essential. Demonstrated troubleshooting skills, with a methodical approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining clear, accurate documentation, are also necessary.

This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold or be able to obtain an NV1 level security clearance.
