Job Description

The primary focus of this role is to develop and implement engaging educational programs that drive student outcomes.

As an accomplished educator, you will utilize critical reflection and inquiry to enhance your knowledge and skills in teaching science and health subjects to students in years 7-12.

This role plays a pivotal part in supporting the school's strategic plan to improve student performance and educational outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering comprehensive curriculum content
  • Contributing to the development of school policies and priorities
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student engagement
  • Supervising student teachers and mentoring new staff members

In addition to direct teaching, you will be required to participate in organisational duties, staff meetings, and parent/teacher conferences. You will also have opportunities to contribute to the development of educational resources and materials.
