Science Instructor Years 7

This role involves teaching science to students in years 7-12 at a high school. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the relevant curriculum and be able to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills into their teaching practice.
Main Responsibilities:- To develop and implement engaging lesson plans for students in years 7-12.
- To utilise data to inform teaching practice and provide feedback on student learning growth and achievement.
- Demonstrated expertise in the relevant curriculum area.
- Demonstrated experience in responding to diverse student learning needs.
- Demonstrated ability to plan for and implement high impact teaching strategies.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated behaviours and attitudes consistent with Department values.
The successful applicant will have a genuine passion for teaching science and a commitment to delivering high-quality education to students. They will be an effective communicator and team player who is able to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
