Electrical Maintenance Specialist

Ensure the optimal performance of our electrical systems by executing planned and unplanned maintenance activities within an operational mining environment.
This role requires a high degree of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and effective communication abilities to lead a team in maintaining and improving reliability.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring expectations, understanding, and application of maintenance processes within the team to support compliance with local requirements and Group Level Documents (GLD).
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching, and mentoring team members to ensure delivery against performance targets.
- Building relationships through collaboration with other maintenance and production superintendents.
- Managing the implementation of work procedures and instructions.
- Guiding supervisors in weekly planning and scheduling meetings to ensure alignment and commitment of resources to the work schedule.
- Contributing to the development of the maintenance strategy and budget.
- Allocating training resources for the team to effectively operate.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical maintenance, leadership or management qualifications, and experience in a similar role. They should also have confidence in managing risks associated with industrial working environments and effective communication across multiple levels and disciplines.
