Insurance Underwriter Assistant

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Insurance Underwriter Assistant, where you will play a key role in supporting the underwriting process and helping us deliver exceptional insurance solutions to our clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist underwriters in producing documentation, including quotations, certificates of insurance, and endorsements. You will also be responsible for invoicing original, additional, and return premiums, as well as preparing and maintaining records of negotiations with clients following meetings.

In addition, you will provide support to underwriters and assistant underwriters, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration throughout the underwriting process.

About You:

  • You have 1-2 years of experience in insurance, underwriting, or administrative support, preferably in a similar role.
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, and are familiar with underwriting principles and terminology.
  • You possess proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance software systems, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
